Candle Care Instructions
To enjoy a clean, long-lasting burn and keep your space feeling like a lakeside retreat, follow these simple care tips:
-
Trim the Wick – Before each burn, trim your wick to about 1/8 inch. This helps prevent soot and keeps your flame steady.
-
First Burn Matters – Let your candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar (about 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and sets the stage for even burns every time.
-
Burn Time – For best results, burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Always allow the wax to cool before relighting.
-
Safe & Sound – Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, or anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Snuff, Don’t Blow – Use a candle snuffer to extinguish your flame. It’s gentler on the wick and reduces smoke.
-
Know When to Say Goodbye – Stop burning your candle when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to prevent overheating.
-
Storage Tips – Store your candles in a cool, dry place and keep the lid on between burns to protect the scent and keep dust out.
